Basketball Recap: Northside Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Northside Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 71-55 win over Myers Park on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Northside Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Northside Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from DOMINICK WALSH, who posted 11 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, WALSH now owns an excellent 46.9% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Ahlers, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Northside Christian's record now sits at 7-1. As for Myers Park, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Northside Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-47 loss against Harrells Christian Academy on the 6th. As for Myers Park, they have also already played their next contest, a 72-65 victory against Laney on the 6th.
