Volleyball Recap: Homestead's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Homestead had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Neenah Rockets. That's more bragging rights for the Highlanders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Alex Konon paced Homestead's offense, picking up 11 kills. Konon got some help from Sean Contardi and his 16 assists. William Gefke controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Neenah, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Homestead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Brookfield Central on the 11th. As for Neenah, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Madison East on the 11th.
