Josh Gonsalves posted a new career-high in total tackles on Friday. He made 21 total tackles (2.0 for loss), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season.

Coming up, Gonsalves and Mead will head out to square off against Niwot at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mavericks are a perfect 3-0 against the Cougars going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
