It was a good run, but Washington Township unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 75-49 to the River Forest Ingots. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Senators, who have now lost three close ones in a row against the Ingots.

Rob McGowan and Kyle Banker certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. McGowan went 5-for-9 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds, while Banker went 6-for-11 to rack up 16 points and four steals.

Washington Township's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for River Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Washington Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-47 victory against Wheeler on the 25th. As for River Forest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-55 win against Kouts on the 25th.
