The Garinger Wildcats will take on the Bradford Prep Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Garinger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.

Garinger will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Rocky River, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wildcats secured a 56-50 W over the Ravens on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Garinger's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Lawler led the charge by putting up 17 points and three steals. Jadarian Dixon was another key player, earning 11 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Bradford Prep ended up a good deal behind North Stanly on Wednesday and lost 58-44.

Garinger will have to contain Luke Hanson as he made an impact in Bradford Prep's last game. He posted 17 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. Hanson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Baines, who scored ten points.

Garinger's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Bradford Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
