Volleyball Recap: Claremore Takes a Loss

Claremore's tournament run continued when they took on Nevada on Saturday. The Zebras fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Zebras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Nevada was led to victory by Cora Braden and Halle Hawks. Braden had three digs and three aces, while Hawks had six digs. Those three aces gave Braden a new career-high.

Claremore's defeat dropped their record down to 25-7-1. As for Nevada, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Claremore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Collinsville on the 30th. As for Nevada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Webb City on the 27th.
