Softball Recap: Paducah Tilghman Takes a Loss

If Paducah Tilghman was feeling good fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Christian County on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Tornado fell just short of the Trigg County Wildcats by a score of 6-5 on Friday. Blue Tornado fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildcats since Friday.

Paducah Tilghman's loss dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Trigg County, their record now sits at 26-8.

Looking ahead, Paducah Tilghman will face off against Lyon County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trigg County, they will square off against Marshall County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats are facing the Marshals at the right time seeing as the Marshals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
