Volleyball Recap: Enke Lou and Jaz Damineni Secure Win for Canyon Crest Academy

Canyon Crest Academy entered their tilt with Valley Center on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Canyon Crest Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Leading Canyon Crest Academy to victory were Jaz Damineni and Enke Lou. Damineni had eight aces, while Lou had seven aces. Damineni has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Canyon Crest Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Canyon Crest Academy's record now sits at 16-11. As for Valley Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season.
