Basketball Recap: Idea Comes Up Short

Idea lost to KIPP DC Legacy College Prep back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Timberwolves took a 52-33 bruising from the Bulldogs.

Amari Young was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kanari Arrington, who put up ten points.

Idea's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Idea will welcome Bard at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, they will host E.L. Haynes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
