Softball Recap: Pittsfield Takes a Loss

Pittsfield fell victim to Agawam and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brownies. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Brownies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Pittsfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gionnah Levardi, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Pittsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Agawam, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsfield will welcome Minnechaug Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Agawam, they will host Frontier Regional at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
