Grayslake North won the last time they faced Westlake Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights blew past the Eagles 66-28. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-6.

Despite the loss, Westlake Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from James Leach, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

The win (which was Grayslake North's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Grayslake North and Westlake Christian Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Knights will face off against rival Grayslake Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Westlake Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe South Beloit at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
