Basketball Recap: Martinsburg Area Christian Homeschoolers Falls to Mountain View Christian Academy in First Game of Season

Martinsburg Area Christian HomeSchoolers had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Christian Academy Conquerors.

Mountain View Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Ayden Quick, who posted 17 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Quick has scored at least a third of Mountain View Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Ben McClellan, who had eight points.

The win was the third in a row for Mountain View Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 3-5.

Martinsburg Area Christian HomeSchoolers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain View Christian Academy, they and Mt. Carmel Christian Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
