Recap: Clover Blue Eagles vs. Blacksburg Wildcats
There's no place like home for the Clover Blue Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Blacksburg 80-43 at home. With Clover ahead 37-15 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Clover can attribute much of their success to Hunter Decuir, who scored 15 points. Isaac Allen was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Despite the loss, Blacksburg still got an impressive performance from Derekio Mcneil, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
The win got Clover back to even at 1-1. As for Blacksburg, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Clover will head out on the road to face off against York at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blacksburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dorman at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dorman is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
