Volleyball Recap: De Beque Takes a Loss + How To Watch

De Beque was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Caprock Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-15.

Avery Rigsby paced De Beque's offense, picking up eight kills. Rigsby got some help from Ileeyah Herrera and her seven assists. Rigsby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

De Beque's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Caprock Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

De Beque has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Rangely on the 1st. As for Caprock Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against West Grand on the 1st.
