Volleyball Game Preview: El Rancho Dons vs. California Condors

The El Rancho Dons will head out to face off against the California Condors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. El Rancho is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Last Wednesday, El Rancho made easy work of La Serna and carried off a 3-0 victory.

El Rancho's got stronger as the match went on, holding La Serna to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, California came into Wednesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Santa Fe on Wednesday.

California pushed their record up to 17-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for El Rancho, their win bumped their record up to 14-3-2.

Everything went El Rancho's way against California when the teams last played back in March, as El Rancho made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
