Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jones County walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Philip Scotties on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Coyotes, who have now won three contests in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Philip lost, don't look at Taylor O'Connell. Despite the final result, she had 30 digs. O'Connell has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Jones County's victory bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Philip, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-23 record this season.

Jones County will face off against Kadoka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Philip does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
