Volleyball Recap: Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Takes a Loss

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley was the 2-1 winner over High Plains when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Storm by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lauryn Koch paced Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's offense, picking up ten kills. Koch got some help from Olivia Schlegel and her 13 assists. Emma Hoins and Claire Hinrichs kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for High Plains, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Dorchester on the 21st. As for High Plains, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Meridian on the 21st.
