Volleyball Recap: Viburnum Takes a Loss

Viburnum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Portageville Bulldogs.

Portageville can attribute much of their success to Lexi Priggel, who had four digs and three aces. Priggel is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Viburnum's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Portageville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Viburnum has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bernie on the 13th. As for Portageville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bloomfield on the 12th.
