Cherokee County waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Cold Springs Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Cherokee County's offense was headlined by Nevaeh Gaidurgis and Jolie Alexander, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Macy Lea and her 11 assists. Gaidurgis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cherokee County's victory bumped their record up to 40-7-1. As for Cold Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 4-20.

Cherokee County has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Helena on the 11th. As for Cold Springs, they will challenge Falkville at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
