After losing to Valley the last time they met, Piute decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 47-36 win over the Buffalos on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Piute's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Coming up, Piute will be playing at home against Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Thunderbirds' defense better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 50.5 points per game this season. As for Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Parowan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
