Matoaca kept up with Mechanicsville until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Mustangs blew past the Warriors 5-1. The result was nothing new for Mechanicsville, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Mechanicsville, bringing their record up to 10-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three contests. As for Matoaca, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1.
