Hokes Bluff took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Glencoe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Yellowjackets on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Glencoe lost, don't look at Gracyn Bunt. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs. Bunt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Hokes Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Glencoe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-11 record this season.

Hokes Bluff will square off against Ashville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glencoe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against West End on the 4th.
