Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern was the 67-58 winner over Palisades when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pumas on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brighton Lester had an outrageously good game for Palisades as he went 7-for-16 to rack up 26 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Micah VanFossen, who posted seven points and nine rebounds.

Northwestern now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Palisades, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Northwestern will be taking part in a tournament against Boiling Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palisades, they will head out to square off against Huss at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
