Softball Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

Montgomery Central was the 7-5 winner over Stewart County when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Montgomery Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Arrington, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Montgomery Central dropped their record down to 15-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Stewart County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Central will square off against East Robertson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stewart County, they will take on Harpeth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
