Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Astoria

Astoria had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Corbett Cardinals. This was payback for the Fishermen, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Astoria's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Corbett, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Astoria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pendleton on the 18th. As for Corbett, they will challenge Yamhill-Carlton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
