Volleyball Recap: Nixa's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Nixa waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Eureka Wildcats by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Taylor Wood paced Nixa's offense, picking up ten kills. Wood got some help from Peyton Creed and her 14 assists.

Nixa's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Eureka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10-1.

Looking ahead, Nixa will take on Lutheran in a tournament on Saturday. As for Eureka, they will take on Fayetteville at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
