Flag Football Recap: Arvada West's Winning Streak Snapped at 12 Games + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Arvada West couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Chaparral Wolverines on Saturday, falling 20-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Arvada West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hadlie Pugliese and Vivian Brenkert.

Chaparral got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zoey Fink out in front who threw for 119 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards. The Wolverines' leading receiver Salem Sherman was Fink's top target yet again, picking up 42 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

With the loss, Arvada West broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-3. As for Chaparral, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Arvada West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chaparral, they have already played their next contest, a 26-14 defeat against Legend on the 22nd.
