Volleyball Recap: Gray Collegiate Academy Takes Down Gilbert in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Gray Collegiate Academy had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Gilbert Indians 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the War Eagles, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Gray Collegiate Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-21, 25-20.

Gray Collegiate Academy was led to victory by Colby Branham and Micah Hughes. Branham had five digs and five aces, while Hughes had six digs and two aces. Branham is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.
