Soccer Game Preview: Troy Christian vs. Seven Hills

The Troy Christian Eagles will take on the Seven Hills Stingers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Troy Christian comes in on six and Seven Hills on nine.

Troy Christian barely beat Legacy Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 6-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering Troy Christian have won 13 matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Legacy Christian Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mikey Berner (2), Zach Zeman (2), Ron Pinsenschaum, and Brennan Hochwalt.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seven Hills had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They skirted past the WARRIORS 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Seven Hills were the better team in the second half.

Seven Hills' victory bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Troy Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-1-3.

Everything went Troy Christian's way against Seven Hills in their previous matchup back in September, as Troy Christian made off with a 4-0 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stingers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
