Basketball Recap: Grass Range/Winnett Skates Past Highwood with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grass Range/Winnett). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Highwood Mountaineers 78-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rangers have posted since February 24th.

The win (which was Grass Range/Winnett's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Highwood, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Grass Range/Winnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highwood, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
