Soccer Game Preview: Wauconda vs. Vernon Hills + How To Watch

The Wauconda Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Vernon Hills Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wauconda barely beat Harvard the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Hornets 3-0 on Wednesday. Wauconda better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Mario Torres, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Meanwhile, Vernon Hills has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 11. They and Libertyville finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Wauconda has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matchups. With that draw, Vernon Hills' record moves to 3-12-2.
