Ganado entered their tilt with Boling on Friday with 14 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 15. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 28-27 W against the Bulldogs. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 537th).

Ganado found their leader in sophomore Landyn Arriaga, who rushed for 110 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 98 yards and a pair of TDs. Another player making a difference was Logan Bures, who gained 117 total yards and two touchdowns.

Ganado was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Ganado's record is now 2-0. As for Boling, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ganado will head out to face off against East Bernard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boling, they will challenge Tomball Christian HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
