Baseball Recap: Palo Verde Valley Takes a Loss

Palo Verde Valley lost against Calexico back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Palo Verde Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Palo Verde Valley's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Calexico, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Palo Verde Valley by a score of 6-0 on Friday.
