Volleyball Game Preview: Bethlehem Center Bulldogs vs. West Greene Pioneers

The Bethlehem Center Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the West Greene Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Bethlehem Center took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Mapletown with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Maples: they've now won four in a row.

While Bethlehem Center won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-23.

Meanwhile, West Greene got the win against Avella on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

West Greene walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-20.

West Greene's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bethlehem Center, their win bumped their record up to 10-1-1.

Bethlehem Center took their victory against West Greene when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
