Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They were the clear victors by a 26-11 margin over the Smithton Tigers on Tuesday. Considering the Cardinals have won 14 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Smithton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 26-11 win against La Monte on the 15th. Smithton has also already played their next game (against Butler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
