Baseball Game Preview: Italy Gladiators vs. Rio Vista Eagles

For the second straight game, Italy will face off against Rio Vista. The Gladiators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Italy has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Italy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Rio Vista on Friday. They lost 11-2 to the Eagles.

Italy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Johnson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Italy has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Rio Vista, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
