Soccer Recap: Knightdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Knightdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Wake Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against East Wake this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on October 6th.

Knightdale's goal came courtesy of Jose Tolentino, who's now up to five this season.

Knightdale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for East Wake, their win ended a nine-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Knightdale is set to square off against their familiar foe Wake Forest at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Wake will challenge rival Vance County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
