Ord skates past Arcadia/Loup City with ease

Recap: Ord Chanticleers vs. Arcadia/Loup City Rebels

The Ord Chanticleers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Arcadia/Loup City at home to the tune of 65-33. That 32 points margin sets a new team best for Ord this season.

Ord was led to victory by Jordan Williams and Blake Hinrichs. Williams scored 11 points along with five assists and five steals, while Hinrichs scored 16 points along with three steals. Hinrichs is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Talan Bruha was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Arcadia/Loup City lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Max Lewandowski, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Jaixen, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Arcadia/Loup City struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ord pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.

Ord's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they bumped their record down to 5-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Ord and Wood River will face off at 7:45 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Arcadia/Loup City, Arcadia/Loup City and Riverside will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
