Redmond put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They never let the North Creek Jaguars onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for Redmond, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Not much got past Ainsley Barcalow, who gave up just seven hits to keep North Creek off the board. Barcalow has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Tia Milloy was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 4-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Regan Hendrickson, who went 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBI.
On North Creek's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Fleming, who went 2-for-3 with a double.
Redmond's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-8. As for North Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
