Football Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

Kennett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Plymouth Bobcats and fell 50-18. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 41-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Plymouth, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kennett will challenge rival Pembroke at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Plymouth is set to square off against their familiar foe Trinity at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
