Basketball Recap: Stivers School for the Arts Comes Up Short

Stivers School for the Arts lost against Trotwood-Madison back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Stivers School for the Arts Tigers took a blow against the Trotwood-Madison Rams, falling 71-30. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Stivers School for the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Trotwood-Madison, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.

Stivers School for the Arts will square off against SPIRE Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trotwood-Madison, they will head out to challenge Thurgood Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trotwood-Madison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 contests -- so hopefully Thurgood Marshall likes a good challenge.
