Football Recap: Tradition Prep Takes a Loss

Tradition Prep came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Jupiter Christian Eagles and fell 48-7. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 46-6 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jupiter Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dorian Fauntleroy, who threw for 151 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing. Another pass catcher making a difference was Luke Beach, who picked up 71 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Tradition Prep's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Jupiter Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Tradition Prep will venture away from home to square off against Coral Springs Charter at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Jupiter Christian, they will host Inlet Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes' defense has only allowed 9.3 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
