Nevada had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Hampton on Thursday. The Nevada Blue Jays were the clear victor by a 20-14 margin over the Hampton Bulldogs. For the Blue Jays, this counts as revenge for the 7-2 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Nevada's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0. As for Hampton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Nevada will take on Gurdon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hampton, they will square off against Hermitage at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
