It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cobden had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Egyptian Pharaohs. The Appleknockers haven't had any issues with the Pharaohs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Cobden easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16.

Natalie Franklin paced Cobden's offense, picking up ten kills. Franklin got some help from Amelia Long and her 20 assists. Keela Kaszubski controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cobden's win bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Egyptian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Cobden will head out to challenge Carrier Mills-Stonefort at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Egyptian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
