Basketball Recap: East Bladen Comes Up Short on the Road Against North Brunswick

East Bladen had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 59-16 loss at the hands of the North Brunswick Scorpions. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

North Brunswick's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kavon Fryar led the charge by putting up nine points. Another player making a difference was Jack Baker, who posted nine points.

North Brunswick has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, East Bladen will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Heide Trask at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Brunswick, they have already played their next matchup, a 79-48 victory against Purnell Swett on the 21st.
