Basketball Game Preview: Chicago Marshall Commandos vs. Westinghouse Warriors + How To Watch

The Chicago Marshall Commandos will head out to face off against the Westinghouse Warriors at 4:55 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Chicago Marshall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.

Chicago Marshall took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 73-48 margin over Julian. The Commandos not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 16th (when they won 70-36).

Chicago Marshall found their leader in sophomore Darrin Laye Jr, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Gibson, who posted 13 points.

Westinghouse played against Austin College and Career Academy on Monday and won via forfeit.

Westinghouse's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Chicago Marshall, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Chicago Marshall came up short against Westinghouse in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, falling 76-71. Can the Commandos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
