Volleyball Recap: Braelyn Malcom's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Limon over Sargent

Limon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Sargent Farmers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Badgers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-14.

Several Badgers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braelyn Malcom, who had 20 assists and seven digs. Malcom is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Stone, who had 15 digs.

Limon's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Sargent, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Limon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Byers on the 1st. As for Sargent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Fowler on the 1st.
