Soccer Recap: Towanda Comes Up Short

Towanda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the North Penn-Liberty Mountie. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Penn-Liberty this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in September.

Towanda's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for North Penn-Liberty, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7-1.

Coming up, Towanda will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Troy at 7:00 p.m. As for North Penn-Liberty, they will head out to take on Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
