Football Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glencoe can now relate to. They took a blow against the Winfield Pirates on Friday, falling 39-0. The Yellowjackets have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Jayman Mintz threw for 101 yards on 14 of 29 attempts. Isaiah Young was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards. On the ground, Alex Hudson Jr rushed for 27 yards.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Winfield, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

As of now, neither Glencoe nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
