De La Salle is 9-1 against California since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The De La Salle Spartans will be playing at home against the California Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m.

De La Salle's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Granada 4-0. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, California has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 14. They and Foothill finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

De La Salle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. With that draw, California's record moves to 8-6-7.

De La Salle beat California 2-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will De La Salle repeat their success, or does California have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
